JogWantage is an initiative run by local volunteers to provide the opportunity for people of all ages (16 years of age and over) to take part in simple and achievable activity with the aim of improving their level of fitness. Above all else we aim to make sure our courses take place in a friendly, social environment and are enjoyed by the participants.

Following the success of our 8–week course (– which was extended due to its popularity) commencing towards the end of May last year we are now in the process of planning our next course. You will see from the positive feedback we have received how our course has spurred many of the participants to continue their jogging and improve their level of fitness. Some have improved to the level where they are able to join in the training sessions targeted for newcomers at our local athletics club.
